"The house was exactly as described. It was large, spacious, and clean! The owner and property managers were incredibly response and were waiting for us when we arrived even though our plane was delayed three hours. Their attentiveness was unmatched. We were running out of towels and they brought us some extra ones. One small issue was with the main door. The code didn't work (which they told us about so we appreciated that) so that meant we had to leave the main door unlocked during our stay....

"We stayed for 8 nights and had the best time! The pool was lovely and clean, the beach was very private feeling and we floated and snorkeled in the ocean everyday right there. Jose and Delfina were WONDERFUL! They made us homemade salsa (the best we have ever had!) and guacamole several times, cut us fresh coconuts to drink and eat and were there for anything we needed or to answer any questions we had. "I highly recommend Casa Azanik. We had a party of 7 family members, but we could have accommodated so many more. The booking process was extremely efficient, and the concierge helped us book shuttles and activities. The manager and the daily caretakers helped us navigate Akumal wonderfully. Although we did eat at some local restaurants, our favorite meals were the ones prepared for us at the villa. The pool area right on the beach made snorkeling, kayaking, and relaxing in the pool and the ocean...

"Beautiful property and nice, quiet neighborhood. For such a beautiful home, I would have expected some basics like cleaning supplies, sponge, paper towels, toilet paper, also salt/pepper, oils for cooking, etc. The water was not safe drinking water and purifier made it taste salinated and terrible. Also, showers need to be cleaned better as they are full of mold. Pool needed to be cleaned and the nearby gym equipment was all broken. The transportation system to the beach does not include this...
