"A lot of care was taken to make sure my stay was as comfortable as possible. Great amenities, central location, and I loved having the companionship of the owners' cat and dog. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay!"

"More than I ever would have expected. Beautiful setting. Lovely cottage with all the amenities. Walk right out the front door into beautiful wooded areas and nearby stream and waterfall. Folks were friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. I hope to return someday soon. "

"Great communication with owner. Clean. Well stocked with stables (i.e., sugar, coffee) and everything needed for cooking and eating. "

"Pros: Check-in was keyless and easy. Beds were fine, kitchen was well stocked with tools for cooking. The lake views were also a draw for sure, and it was quiet. Cons: It was a hot day and the inside of the house was VERY warm (88 F). Despite what was advertised, there is NOT central AC. There is a small mobile Toshiba unit in the back bedroom, but it was off. When we turned it on it leaked and sprayed water everywhere (which someone knew, because there was a towel on the floor under it). No...

"This was our second stay, so I guess we must like it. Seems like they improved the shower since last time, so that was nice. TV was a little difficult to get up and running but we eventually managed. Only other (very minor) thing would be to flip the hinges on the refrigerator door so it opens on the other side. Everything else was just fine!"

"Beautiful family cabin with a view of Lake Almanor. We enjoyed watching the colorful sunsets over the lake while sitting on the deck. Spacious, clean and well appointed with all the kitchen items you'd need. The cabin is in a quiet area, not far from Chester and easy access to the lake. We loved our comfortable stay and would happily return in the future. Thank you for a delightful base for our adventures!"

"The cabin was amazing! Very cool log cabin vibe with all of the decorations to make you feel like you're roughing it in the woods but with all the modern convenience to make it comfortable. The outdoor bathtub and grilling area were standouts. The cabin actually does have AC even though the listing says it doesn't so that was a relief for a summer getaway. We came to see Crater Lake and it was close enough to recommend it for anyone wanting to see crater along with lake activities closer by at...

"The house was big enough to fit our entire family (3 generations under the same roof!), plenty of bedrooms and even bonus kids room, with fun toys (that was well used!. For the adults, we used the pool table for many hours of fun. The kitchen was well stocked, and there was even a tray of snacks stuff, very generous! "
