"Perfectly adorable house that was ideal for our brief getaway. I wish we had been able to use the kayak/canoe but time was tight. The only issue was the driveway which had me holding my breath a bit but luckily we were careful and managed without incident."

"Old Saybrook is a very comfortable, clean, and well kept home. Sizeable bedrooms and baths, comfortable beds, and ample linens provided. Basically, check in using the security code and that's it! We are so happy we chose Old Saybrook for our stay, as it made for a very comfortable, and relaxing trip. We were not there long enough to have enjoyed the back yard grill, but surely would have if we could. BTW...the host is GREAT!!!"

"Nice relaxing small house for a quick weekend getaway. Plenty of space in the kitchen and bedrooms. The shower is very very small, especially with a curtain that you kind of have to hold back away from you while you shower. If you like very firm beds youre in luck, the matresses are pretty firm. I would bring your own pillows as those provided were very thin. Other than that, its the perfect spot for a getaway. We had a wonderful relaxing weekend."

"Landscaping was spectacular and we enjoyed a beautiful view of the lake. Baths and bedrooms very clean. Plenty of charging ports. Terrible mold and mildew smell in lower level. Number of hazards noted, handrail missing on stairs, no lights on outdoor stairway, thermostat access by leaning over the stairs. The property needs a good deep cleaning."

"The property managers have literally thought of everything for a comfortable well-appointed stay, including an Alexa speaker for music, binoculars to view sights in the bay, lights under the porch for nighttime illumination, and a pleasant plug-in scent diffuser.
