"When booking online it is often difficult to be assured that the information presented is accurate. In this case it really was; this truly is a stunning home in a secluded spot; even the wildlife was welcoming! We were there in winter and had a snow storm keeping us indoors for half of our weekend but that did not detract from our enjoyment at all, in fact, it added to the ambiance of our weekend. The only downside, if there was one, was the approach road being unpaved and muddy when we arrived;...

"Had the pleasure of staying in this space for both summer holidays and it was exactly what we needed for a long weekend stay! The home is cozy and clean with enough space to comfortably sleep our family of 5 adults. With the beach just a short walk away it’s the perfect location. Hope to stay again!"

"We all liove the various Connecticut shore towns, and Ild Lyme was delightful. We revisited some favorite spots, and discovered a few new ones. The vintage appliances were particularly nice to find, and looking at old photos, we realized that the original cottage was really 100 years old!"
