"We loved the house, it was just as pictured and it felt like we were staying in a rainforest. We were pleasantly surprised by how well maintained the property was give the dampness in this part of the island.The only negative, as mentioned by others, is the security camera that's directed right at the hut tub. "Overall we had a nice stay. Tiny house was cute and good value. Very close to Volcanoes national park which allowed us to see an eruption!! Electricity and wifi was unreliable, communication was sub par, and it was quite off the beaten path, but these were minor inconveniences that we took in stride."

"We enjoyed Kamaka cabin…the spacious second floor and the loft. The games were very much appreciated… especially since it rained day and night . My only concern the outside light near the stairs going up to the second floor , does not light up. Making it hard to see at night in the dark…we had to use our phones for light . "

"Wonderful stay in the jungle Fern forest, gravel road to the rental is in great shape, any vehicle would be fine. Exactly as described and pictured, nothing more or less, for the price it's 10/10; easy late arrival access with gate key code and cabin door code ; soothing coqui frogs all night after the neighborhood dogs settle in. somewhat thin walls with neighboring cabin, maybe bring earplugs"

"This place is very rural. Katherine is a very nice host.The unit itself is about 10 ft by 20ft. The inside table for dining is in the photo with a glass top. There are two stools, a coffee maker, a small fridge, and a Queen-sized bed on a platform. The mattress was very comfortable. It might be a bit challenging for older guests to get on the bed. "This is the perfect place to stay for people not wanting to stay in the crowded condo areas of the island. There were multiple rentals on the property, but it still felt private. Bungalow was on the smaller side, but it was totally ok for us since we wanted to spend most of our time outside. Owner of property was super kind and gave us a short tour of the shared facilities (pool, hot tub and shared kitchen) when we arrived. This property is even better than the listing shows."

"Overall, our stay was very good. The owner and manager were responsive to our everyday needs.There was some gap in communication for check in. We missed to see the email regarding the instructions to check-in. We waited to at the gate to check-in and trying to message Christophe thru VRBO. He responded after about half an hour and with a warm welcome.This jungle cabin is a real jungle experience!"
