"Lovely property, nice rooms"

"Beautiful hotel and nicely decorated rooms. At check-in, reception staff called Victoria was not very welcome and did not seem keen on relocating us to another room (the one given to us was on a lower level and the lift was out of order). I was with a 1 year old child, pregnant and had heavy suitcases, however she insisted there's was nothing she could do to help, treated us poorly and did not seem to care. "Warm welcome and beautiful room. Ate lunch in the Nelson bar on my own while waiting for partner to arrive and was made to feel comfortable and welcome. Same waiter on the evening - George. He was chatty funny and even sung for us - a fabulous member of staff. The room was beautiful and spa experience was fabulous. We especially enjoyed the live piano music on the evening with a cheeky cocktail or two! Will definitely stay again! "

"I have visited the quay on a number of occasions and it just gets better. The location is superb looking over the estuary, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I would truly recommend the Quay hotel to anyone and lm sure they would not be disappointed. Shaun the manager runs a tight ship which certainly makes your stay enjoyable in all all departments. Well done the Quay."
