"Overall, the property was on par with other Hilton properties. However, the room that I had stayed, 715, had drainage flow issues. Both the water sink and bath tub have water flow issues. I am not sure if it is with this room only o overall with other rooms."

"The location was convenient, just off the freeway. Room was clean. Furniture was a little worn but looked newly remodeled. From the outside, there was no signage. Few cars in the lot and was unsure at first if it was open. Check-in was efficient. No breakfast (as others noted, so not a surprise) and $100 deposit required, refunded 3-5 days, for incidentals. Felt safe in the area and location. Pets are allowed and noticed a dog odor on/near couch. Dog barking down the hall when...

"The Royal Sonesta is always a good option at the Galleria area. It’s not as fancy as some other hotels, but it’s a fair/ decent choice! The bed is very comfortable and the room is in great order. The bathroom is really small, though. "

"The area the hotel is located is nice...shopping, great restaurants and you can easily get to downtown or 610. My only negative is the hotel is currently under renovation, and I wasn't aware of that prior to booking, so none of the hotel amenities were accessible. Luckily, we only had one night booked or this would have been a very disappointing stay."
