"We stayed at this property in February 2025 with an 8-month old baby and found it incredibly suited to our needs. It was easy to find from the ferry, very conveniently located near downtown Eastsound and all of the restaurants and shops, and extremely well outfitted. We had everything needed to cook, store and reheat food. The house had books for our little ones and puzzles for mom & dad. "Put this on your bucket list! While everyone stages their property for the photos, this may be the one property that is anti-staged! The House of the Ocean Sun absolutely exceeds the amazing pictures and write-up in every way. Views are epic. The property is immaculately maintained and the kitchen is fully equipped—it even has an espresso machine that converted us away from pods. "Tongue and grooved knotty pine, Leathered granite counters, views of the water from every angle. High end amenities, a perfect place to unwind. High end flooring throughout with heated tile floors in the bathrooms and utility/wash room. An amazing place to stay on San Juan, perfectly situated between Friday harbor and Roche harbor. Orcas, sea lions and coast guard were plentiful for viewing from the two different balcony style decks. What a treat!"

"This is our fifth stay at the cabin, which I think speaks for itself. We love this property. Hot tub is welcoming, kitchen is equipped for some cooking, and the towel warmers and heated floors in the bathroom are so nice this time of year. Perfect weekend watching bald eagles fly by from the hot tub, watching movies, reading while listening to the rain and venturing into the village. "

"Property is great.Lights above the stove need to be repaired. Hard to see when cooking. Otherwise it was great!"

"Overall good stay, however the dang dehumidifier sounds like a lawnmower engine at 2am when youre trying to sleep. Otherwise, no complaints."
