"Loved our stay at here, staff were very welcoming and helpful and patient with our young Vizsla dog. Ideal set up for staying with a dog, with rooms located opposite site of the car park to the cosy pub. Food was excellent. Definitely would come and stay here again. "

"We stayed for one night while visiting family. Staff were warm, friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and well equipped. We appreciated having a mini nespresso machine for our morning coffee. It was a very warm evening but a fan in the room helped to cool it down. The bathroom floor had a slight slope, which could be interesting if you've had a heavy night out. We would happily stay again."

"Nice welcome from owner. Stairs are steep and irregular. We stayed on second floor. My metal frame bed was noisy and soft mattress. Room clean and tidy. Breakfast extra but go to pub next door for more choices/value. Unsuitable for those with access problems. Car park adjacent in corner of pub car park. My corner shower had high step in and was snug..."

"A little difficult to find perhaps but once there it is lovely. We arrived in the dark so it was great to wake up, open the curtains and look at the view across the fields. Breakfast (full english) was superb."

"Our stay was fabulous. The food is 12/10 We had our dog with us so we had to eat in the bar but it has a roaring fire and a lovely atmosphere and I’d argue this was the best seat in the house. Our room was in a little outbuilding and it was just perfect. Super quiet of a night too. The servers are all very young and the best and most smiley service I’ve had in a long time "

It was ideally situated for touring around the area, and even though the apartment was in the town, it was quiet and only a few minutes walk to shops and eating places. The owner was quick to respond to a query we had, and gave us useful information prior to our visit. A relaxing and enjoyable stay, plenty of places to visit and local walks. "
