"Swift and easy check-in. The family room had two bedrooms which was a very pleasant surprise. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Could have done with a rubber bath mat but found out later we could have asked for one. Similarly de-caff tea and coffee I guess. We had our 4-year-old granddaughter with us but there were no issues with noise from the bar below. Limited menu but food was very good. Steaks were lovely. Nice pint too. Great breakfast. "Had a lovely 1 night stay at this hotel with my daughter when visiting friends. Hotel was very clean, perfectly situated for exploring the area, staff were so welcoming and friendly (we especially loved Ruby the dog at breakfast) We would like to return in summer for a longer stay."

"The lady who checked us in was so lovely. We had a warm welcome and the room was cosy and lovely and warm. The bed was so comfortable and we had everything we needed. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and the staff were very attentive. The dog was very welcome and he really enjoyed the stay too. I would highly recommend and we will be back soon."

"Having a specific room requirement the hotel give me options and went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable. With the Hotel room only refurbished in October 24, they were well finished and furnished. We ate in the restaurant with the menu offering a good variety of food and we we very happy with the quality of the food. Finally a big thank you to Dela who was a supMagerb host. "

"My stay was for a single night but I wished I could have stayed longer. This is a lovely hotel and its location on the promenade made it absolutely perfect for my love of absea view and my rock collecting hobby. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Beeakfast was fantastic! The menu offered many options, and I was served quickly by the cheerful staff. I strongly recommend this hotel!"

"A lovely place to stay with views to die for. The rooms were large and comfy, thought he mattress seemed a bit old. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was good quality for a good price. Walking distance to the train station and a few nice pubs too. "

"We had a nice stay at this hotel; friendly staff, nice food, good sized bedroom and lovely views. We had a standard turret bedroom and whilst it was spacious, the en suite was really small and felt like a shower had been squeezed into a room that used to be a toilet room. There was no space to swing an earwig let alone a cat! The toilet had a cigarette burn on it and the lid on the plastic cistern didn’t fit on the tank. "Lovely large room! With a jacuzzi bath, just a shame the jets didn’t work. We were staying to scatter friends ashes so didn’t spend much time in the room. Bed was comfortable and large, room was clean and tidy. Plus we had a wonderful sea view! "
