"It was perfect Gina and Gareth made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond for our stay. Our room was stunning and so comfortable and they even put a little anniversary banner and balloons up on arrival, The ground were stunning, their suggestions of where to go, see, how to get to places were so helpful. The food was beautiful, so fresh ,we definitely recommend the evening dining too. Gina's puddings are some of the best we have ever tasted. We definitely would stay again if we come back...

"New management has made many upgrades to the property. This was the first time I visited, so I didn't miss the old quirks; I found the place delightful. The Snug is a lovely lounge with wood-burning fire that was great for a cold night. I'm sure the outside tables would be lovely in warm weather. The location right next to the footbridge is charming. I stayed in room 2; the bathroom was a bit small and awkward, but I understand they have to work with the structure that's there."
