"We were not quite sure what to expect but all workwed out well and was a pleasant experience. This was our first non-hotel stay in Charleston. The property was nicely updated, clean and nicely appointed. Price did a great job making sure as was good and we had what we needed. The common area is very nice as not alot of room in your room but the by product are the many conversations you have with other guests. I would recommend The Nicholas and would look to return when in Charleston next."

"Took a chance as we always stay at the Bennett or Charleston place but this was a 3 day trip. We couldn’t be any happier with our choice. It’s newly redone property. "We had never stayed in this neighborhood before and I’m so glad we did! It was so beautiful and easy walk to some of the best restaurants (Chez Nous, Southbound, Co-op for lunch). Hands down my favorite part was having access to bikes. Being able to ride around a large area on our own was the best on a beautiful, sunny day! The room (and common area) was beautiful and we loved the lower level speakeasy suite. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and everything was in excellent shape. Only problem we had was that we never received our check-in email with access codes and there is no one on the premises to help. I was able to call the VRBO number and get the email re-sent thankfully which allowed us to get into the unit."

"Our room was spacious & beautifully appointed. We enjoyed our breakfast each morning on the porch nestled into the couches people watching & enjoying the breeze. The house has been lovingly remodeled but kept all that charm. The "lobby" area is stocked with everything you could need & delicious mint chocolate squares! We were able to walk everywhere & thoroughly enjoyed all the routes we took exploring the city. We will definitely be back."
