"Group of 7 of us stayed for an business strategy and planning retreat. The house is spacious with many comfortable rooms and three really nice group gathering areas. From housing perspective, it was perfect for us and we never felt tight or cramped. Access to Old Rag parking was 10-12 minutes, and maybe 25 minutes to Shenandoah Nat Park Entrance, but easy. 15 minutes to Sperryville. This is is country. "My family and I had a wonderful stay at Elena's property. We rented both houses which are about a football field apart from each other. The house was well equipped and Elena was an amazing and responsive host. Great location for hiking old rag was well. Would absolutely recommend "

"We stayed as a family of 4 (2 teens and 2 adults) to hike Old Rag as our autumn get away. The cottage is deep in the woods with plenty of wildlife and wilderness sounds. Really peaceful location to break away from the city life. The house was sparkling clean, linens and towel white and fresh. You will find all basic necessities you may need for a short stay.
