"Lovely property and full of history. Check in was wonky and check out was worse. To check in we had to go to the bar/restaurant and ask "where's check in?" The bartender checked us in, which was fine, but a bit odd. When we checked out the next morning the downstairs restaurant was closed and locked, so there was nowhere to check out. We ended up leaving the physical key in our room and hoped for the best. Going forward, the hotel should alert guests to the lack of check out, to aleviate...

"It's not fancy, but it is very clean and comfortable. Nick is very helpful and interested in providing what you need. The view is spectacular. I loved the number of outlets in the room. I use a cpap. There were options both sides of the bed to set that up. You also have numerous places to charge you electronics. The Blue Ridge Parkway is easily accessable. Along the Parkway there are awe inspiring views, sites dedicated to the history and culture of the area, walks and hikes for most skill...
