"This rental made such good use of the one-acre lot - we enjoyed the mirthful pool and garden area, the garden, ocean and starlight views from an assortment of decks, lanais and gazebos. We felt like we hardly had to leave the property. But just a few minutes up the road were rocky beaches for whale-viewing, bamboo forests with waterfalls, and a cascading stream with refreshing swimming holes. Cannot wait to return to Honomu House."

"Beautiful views and home is appointed as described. There was severe weather resulting in our early departure due to a loss of electrical and plumbing. We were graciously reimbursed for the day we could not stay there. The 3k security deposit was required very early and held for the maximum 14 days after checkout, which I found annoying. The resident host is just lovely and did all she could to accommodate Mother Nature's wrath."

"This place is 15-20 minutes up the hill from any beach. Do not let that stop you from staying here. Worth the drive. The condo is on hole 3 of the golf course. Great views. The pool is 100ft away. Everything is clean and well stocked. The communication with the management company was exceptional. Check in and out was easy."

"Lots of flair, well thought out property with nice extras (bug spray, cooler for day use etc). This was our ‘home base’ for visiting the east side of the island and it worked well as a place to sleep. Room is in a neighborhood area with a rural feel. Relaxing frogs and birds to keep one company. Great communication from the manager. Would recommend as an affordable place to stay when doing full day trips in the area. "

"Hotel bem localizado e estrutura geral boa, porém encontra-se degradado, sem reformas, dando aspecto de abandono. Serviço de camareira péssimo, não colocou toalhas de banho por 2x, tendo que reclamar por elas, entrou no quarto e não retirou o lixo, não arrumou as camas alegando que tinha objeto pessoal em cima dela. Cafeteira do quarto quebrada. Uma das recepcionistas excelente, as demais são razoáveis."
