"Quiet neighborhood with a rainforest like atmosphere. Covered outside area to sit and enjoy coffee in the morning and libations in the evening after a grand hike around the rim. The beds were soft. The gas fireplace was awesome on a rainy evening after dinner. This place was perfect for our stay and we would love to stay here again given the opportunity. "

"We loved the unit; spacious , clean and had everything we needed. The pool was lovely and beautiful beach 15 mins away. We had a small issue with a blind and James the maintenance guy came out and fixed it swiftly. The only things that may need looking at are: dishwasher first clean too well and the tv downstairs was tricky to figure out. But overall, it was a beautiful place would return to this lovely home."

"The views are just as beautiful as advertised...from the kitchen, living room, front & back patios, and master bedroom. Driving into downtown Hilo was super convenient as was exploring the surrounding attractions - waterfalls, botanical gardens, local farms, etc... Communication with the property manager was easy via phone & text. Although no A/C, there are plenty of fans throughout the house. "

"We loved the cool breeze that came off the golf course behind our condo. And seeing the turkeys and other birds that were there was fun too. I would give 5 stars, but it was not clear that the place would not have air-conditioning. The host gave us some extra fans to use. The pool and hot tub was nice as well. that was much appreciated."

"Loved this beautiful, handcrafted home tucked into an amazing rainforest. Loads of space for 4 adults and 2 children. Sitting outside listening to the night sounds of the rainforest was unforgettable. This house has lots of interesting artwork—so I will say that if you have an inquisitive 4-year-old in your group, you will have to keep vigilant watch!! Getting to the national park and Hilo was easy. "

"The stay was wonderful my family really loved the place and will be back next year me and my husband live just down the road from the lodge and my husband mom and aunt and cousin came and stayed in the lodge and fell in love with it .so they will rent it again next year."
