There is a large range of options for breakfast. On the minus side, the footsteps from the rooms upstairs can be quite loud."

"This is a family run hotel in a Victorian building. Our room was really large with a high ceiling with a sea view on the ground floor. Staff were very helpful and bent over backwards to resolve a couple of small issues with the room. The hotel has a spa and also provides evening entertainment even in low season when we visited. "Very good location, a few minutes' walk from the seafront and 10 minutes' walk from the train station. Quiet area. Comfortable bed. Very clean throughout. Could have done with a chair, instead of the stool, for reading, watching tv, etc."
