"Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult."

"The moment we opened the door the cottage had embraced us both, we felt welcomed and relaxed. This amazing 1860 cottage has been beautifully renovated with rustic features and gorgeous timber furniture throughout. The open fireplace was very romantic along with the fair lights covering the ceil which felt special. The view of its garden was simply amazing. "This house was so comfortable and with the most beautiful outlook. Everything was just perfect for our stay. Fresh eggs, milk, bread and jam were provided as well as coffee and assortment of tea. The location is close to wineries as well as a short distance to Hahndorf, Stirling and Mt Lofty. Can't wait to stay again!"

"Had a great stay! Bed very comfortable. Everything there that we needed! Close to shops and restaurants. Lovely spot! Room ticked all the boxes except there was something going on with wet area on carpet in front to bathroom door. Initially thought it was from bathroom but after 2 days realised there must be a pipe broken under the floor! Apart from that everything was prefect "
