"Pro - excellent location re view, good size rooms Cons - terrible booking system, owner has no idea what she’s doing re booking systems. Thank goodness for the excellent cleaner who happened to be there and was able to sort rooms out for guests. Breakfast was appalling, so cleaner offered pancakes! Such a shame that owner doesn’t look after the place as it could be lovely. One cpl arrived and had no room despite having a printed confirmation!!"

"Property is right in the heart of Hahndorf. We were given an upstairs apartment. Not the best if you have large suitcases. The stairway is inside the apartments. Lovely shower although our showerhead needed a good clean and descale. Otherwise all good. Have stayed before and would stay again in a downstairs apartment."

"Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult."

"Incredibly relaxing stay! Bed was very comfortable (great for my bad back) fireplace in the Lounge Room with lovely outdoor bath was fantastic. I simply loved having a sauna inside the bathroom. When we arrived, we saw our little welcome pack with breakfast provisions for the first day and feed so we could feed the cows, goats and alpacas on the property. "

"Our family of 6 (2 adults, 3 kids, small dog) had an amazing stay and left relaxed and recharged (well, as much as you can with 3 kids!). The home had tons of space for everyone and the backyard hot tub was a favorite! It’s in a quiet neighborhood, with a park 2 minutes away and then the main street a 1 min drive or 15 minute walk. Tanunda is 15 min drive away and wineries very close. The home was perfect and we’ll be back one day! Thank you."

"It ended up the property wasnt available, already booked and we had to find alternate accommodation and are still waiting for a refund. Stayz took pur money very quickly but take a long time to give it back. Makes it hard ehen you are expecting to have money availavle for your holiday. We are never going to use Stayz every again"

"Overall impression was pretty good. Bed is comfortable, but no bedside tables. Great water pressure in the shower but water escapes the shower very easily. Recommend bringing an extra towel to clean up water on the floor. The canara and blankets are a great touch. "We chose a cold and rainy couple of days to visit but still had a lovely time. Cosy and comfy, we had everything we needed except phone reception but we understand this is a stay to ‘switch off.’ The bed was comfy, the bath generous, and we left very immersed in nature. "

"We had a wonderful time in Chris and Tracy's beautiful little cabin. It has all the modcons and excellent views of their amazing property. The alpacas and sheep are incredible.
