Stepping through the door is like stepping back in time - and yet all the modern conveniences have been added in unobtrusive ways. The space is beautiful, warm, and inviting. Sleeping up in the loft is a magical experience, listening to the birds as you fall asleep. The property is beautiful, surrounded by gorgeous scenery. I look forward to staying there again soon!"

"Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. Every shower had mold and mildew (and gross amounts of caulking) and mine included a sliver of dried bar soap complete with black speck inside the soap dish. The pillows were the kind you might...

"We had a lovely stay in this beautifully appointed cottage (right down to an excellent set of knives for cooking!) From the lovely interior to the stunning gardens this was a delightful stop. "Great place to stay in Ireland. Lots of fun. My grandmother was born in Ireland near here. Visited with cousins. First Near Shannon. Then in Tipperary. Went north to visit the Caldwell Castle. My daughter-in-law's name is Caldwell. Snodgrass is a Scotch/Irish name, but my father converted to Catholicism. We went to Giant's Causeway. We had seen it before, but my daughter-in-law wanted to see it. Finished up at Arhelow House. Visited with cousins the night before because my one cousin was leaving...

"The accommodations are relaxing and beautiful. The town and nearby Nenagh have what you need. Hickey's Bar across the street is a wonderful place to meet the nicest people. Highly recommend staying here at Paul and Karen's place in Silvermines. Karen's friendly reception and initial information set the tone for a great visit!"
