"This place was so great! My whole SD family came for Thanksgiving dinner. There were enough places for everyone to eat. There was plenty of beds for those that stayed, and the bedding/pillows were great! The hot tub with the view was amazing. The outside and inside pictures do not do this lovely cabin justice. Perfect place! Warm and cozy. LOTS of bald eagles! Would love to come in Spring time to canoe/kayak the river. I’m from the area but needed a place for my family and I to set up base....

"We loved staying at Russ’s property! It overlooks the lake, as shown, but photos don’t do it justice! It was hard to get our group back inside one you cozy up on the deck! Pretty clean place! Lots to do and see within a walking distance or 5 minute drive. We will be back for our annual girls weekend next year!"

"We had a lovely Chistmas vacation visiting our Sioux Falls relatives. The house was warm and accommodating and the Christmas tree was a special touch which was greatly appreciated! The kuerig collection was phenomenal! Thank you for the added attention to make our get together extra special. "

"The house is spacious, was accurately reflected in the listing and met our needs. Negatives are that some of the furnishings are tired, becoming aged and worn, and that the swimming pool did not heat up to a comfortable swimming temperature. As a result we did not use the pool at all though we paid 500 to do so. Only the hot tub was used, and that was regularly. Also the outdoor grill is very hard to ignite and we only discovered the trick to light it by accident."

"Stayed here for a couple of nights during Thanksgiving break with my husband, 2 kids and our frenchie. The place was cozy, super clean and very welcoming. Easy and fast communication with property manager. Super easy check in and out. The attention to the decorations in the home were fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay. "

"We were in town for our daughter’s wedding. The first 2 nights we stayed with our youngest 3 children and the last two nights with 6 more of our kids and a couple of boyfriends. It was tight but we all fit. Bathroom sharing worked fine too. Most meals were out and about but I was able to make breakfast the morning we left for everyone. We ate in shifts which worked too. It was a good stay. "

"Pretty sure they tripled the price for that weekend because it was family weekend for Mankato State. Price was far too high for what you get. However with that said everything was clean and I would go there again if there were no other options that were cheaper."
