"Adoramos a experiência de passar uma noite em um castelo, tudo perfeito , muito bem caprichado, todos os ambientes aconchegantes. Jántar muito bom, mas comemos carne e foi bem salgado .Como iríamos pegar a balsa muito cedo para islay e não daria tempo de tomar o café da manhã , arrumaram gentilmente uma pequena marmita para tomarmos o café na balsa. "The hotel is minutes walking distance from the train station and the view down is idyllic itself looking towards the water. "Local sem muitas opções de hotel, mas a estadia é cara pelo que oferecem. O quarto era bom e bem cuidado, com um banheiro de bom tamanho, mas se assemelha mais a um bed&breakfast do que a um hotel propriamente dito. Tem um clima familiar e o restaurante é muito frequentado pelos locais. Não pudemos tomar café, pois saímos antes de abrir o restaurante. Nos colocaram em um quarto térreo ao lado do restaurante, tinha um cheiro de gordura muito forte e se ouvia muito alto o barulho do restaurante. "

"Wow! This was a last minute booking and had never heard of The Lodge. I was genuinely devastated to leave and think this is one of the best ‘staycation’ offerings in Scotland. Great views, great price, great spa, great room (52), great for dogs, great restaurant. My only, very minor comment would be that I requested 1130 check out as the spa is only open 1000-1800 (check in 1500, check out 1100). The only space was the morning of check out at 1000. "We had a lovely stay at the Duck Bay Marina, this is our second time staying at this hotel. The Hotel has been renovated since the last time we stayed. Our room was very comfortable and cosy. We were able to go from our room and see the lovely view of Loch Lomond. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice. All staff were welcoming and friendly. We also had a really nice meal in the restaurant. "
