"Local sem muitas opções de hotel, mas a estadia é cara pelo que oferecem. O quarto era bom e bem cuidado, com um banheiro de bom tamanho, mas se assemelha mais a um bed&breakfast do que a um hotel propriamente dito. Tem um clima familiar e o restaurante é muito frequentado pelos locais. Não pudemos tomar café, pois saímos antes de abrir o restaurante. Nos colocaram em um quarto térreo ao lado do restaurante, tinha um cheiro de gordura muito forte e se ouvia muito alto o barulho do restaurante. "

"Our room was very comfortable, though the view wasn’t great as it overlooked the restaurant. However, this was more than made up for by the lounge area—a quirky hidden gem! It was a nice space to relax, though it felt a bit eerie since we seemed to be the only ones using it, despite the inn being full. "The main building is a beautiful old country house. The food is lovely with a very relaxing atmosphere. The Clarsach being played near the roaring wood fire was really special. Having your own island to explore is a bonus!"

"Adoramos a experiência de passar uma noite em um castelo, tudo perfeito , muito bem caprichado, todos os ambientes aconchegantes. Jántar muito bom, mas comemos carne e foi bem salgado .Como iríamos pegar a balsa muito cedo para islay e não daria tempo de tomar o café da manhã , arrumaram gentilmente uma pequena marmita para tomarmos o café na balsa. "The hotel is minutes walking distance from the train station and the view down is idyllic itself looking towards the water. The check in was easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful asked us if we would like to book our meal in the restaurant and although we were also told when breakfast was, I liked that everything you’d need to know was also on the key ring to your room.
