"We were entirely satisfied with our stay at the Palm House. It is spacious and well laid out with the interesting quirks common to old houses. We appreciated that it was within easy walking distance of museums, restaurants, and the riverwalk while not being too far from the rest of Wilmington and the beaches. It had been well cleaned, had responsive hosts, and ample linens and kitchenware.Would stay again!"

"A perfect stay!!!! We had 6 adults and it easily accommodated us. Never had to take the car out of the parking spot because it is so centrally located we could walk everywhere. Fully stocked, great beds, and host was quick to reply to any questions."

"This property was great. It was my first visit to Wilmington, NC and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the N'awlins house. The place had everything and the bed was very comfortable. The owners were super nice and communication was always helpful. They had a book in the place with recommendations for restaurants both neighborhood (2 min walking) and area. As well as things to do. I travel a good bit for work and have VRBO'd for vacation quite a bit, but I have never seen a more comprehensive and...

"Loved the smooth contactless check-in! The King suite was clean and welcoming! The only thing missing were hangers which I noticed immediately as I was in town for a wedding! "We had a fantastic experience at this property! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated everything was. The location was perfect – close to local attractions but still quiet and peaceful. We also appreciated the little touches, like extra towels, toiletries, and the variety of board games for a night in. "Great get away! This was the second time we’ve stayed at the Fire shack. Jules was very responsive. Her restaurant is awesome. Great food and drinks. We love Bald Head and this is a perfect place to stay, sunsets over the marina were beautiful. "
