We had also walked 15 mins to the pier and 15 mins to Windermere town centre.Its proprietors, Chris & Robin are attentive and hospitable hosts who ensure we have a pleasant and memorable stay in Windermere, giving us advice to make our way around. "An old building possiby listed so there are a lot of stairs to the rooms. There are lovely views across the gardens from the restaurant. It's about 1/2 mile walk into the town centre where there is everything you need."
