"Beautiful hotel in a peaceful location. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. We had a spacious room with a large window seat. Loved the bathroom towels which were big and very thick. The bar and dining areas are very inviting. Great breakfast, cooked to order. Wish we were staying longer! "

"Lovely hotel. I was upgraded to a classic double and the yoom was gorgeous . Nice staff . Very helpful. They were having an up grade and refurbishment whilst I was there but it didn't affect my stay . I would definitely stay here again "

"We chose this hotel based on reviews, but we're very disappointed. We new this was not a 5-star hotel, but we'd expect it to be a lot better. Our first room was very bad, but among other problems the worst was the fact that it was dirty and the room smelled dirty feet. Even pillows smelled bad, so we asked to change room. The staff was really nice, extremely polite and helpful and problem was sorted fast, but we don't think we'll use this or any other Holiday Inn Express again. "

"The property is a lovely place that has kept its unique original features. The Victorian facades and interior are refreshingly maintained. The staff are all very welcoming and genuinely friendly. Well located in a rural spot but 5 minutes walk into town, via the sea front promenade."

"The staff here are friendly, welcoming and very knowledgable about the area. Check in was smooth, lovely big room with hot tub, gorgeous breakfast, comfy bed to name but a few positives. The only slight negative and I emphasis slight - room 2 ground floor can get quite noisy outside due to customers coming and going for breakfast. However this would not put me off and would definitely return. Parking limited."

"Normal. Pouco ruido ambiente. Quarto limpo mas com um suporte de toalhas partido, cama pequena e espaço reduzido, A Casa de banho era boa e limpa. O Hotel tem ar de velho por dentro, e deviam retirar as alcatifas. No corridor de acesso ao meu quarto a alcatifa cheirava bastante mal. Pontos positivos é a curta distância à Estação, restaurantes perto e atendimento cortês."
