"We enjoyed the lake side beach and view. We bought tickets to Mackinac Island through Sheplers and the shuttle service to the boat and back to Breakers was appreciated. Very clean and comfortable rooms."

"Read lots of mixed reviews before booking. We stayed as a family of 5, for 4 nights. We had a great time. Pool was average, food nearby, lakeside, beach had sand but was rocky in the water - kids didn’t care. We had no issues w our stay. "

"We had a great stay here. The rooms were clean and nice, though there was a strong perfume scent. The pool and hot tub were nice. Breakfast was great. The bonfires with s'mores supplies provided were awesome. The only thing is that the beach is not swimmable and there is no beach where you can walk to the water. There's huge boulders that separate the upper part and lower part of the beach, but the part by the water is mucky and muddy and not crossable. Otherwise, great stay. Would stay again. "

"The staff was great, let us keep our luggage in a holding area before we could check in, and kept it until we were ready to leave on the ferry. Great front porch with rocking chairs and different flavored waters in the lobby. The pool and hot were nice. Our room had the biggest bathroom I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Large walk in shower, changing table and shelves to stores lots of stuff. "
