"It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "

"Accurate representation of the property. Check in was easy after some confusion as the access door is right next to another unit and not wanting to interfere with another group late at night. Owners were able to clarify and said they would put a better note into the welcome message to alleviate future confusion. Overall, good price and would stay again."

"There are a lot of good things about our stay. We loved being able to walk through Stowe at all hours. We loved the convenience of having a market right next door. And I was able to get a haircut right downstairs. The rec path was close and delightful to walk on. But we had no hot water--none--for the entire stay. Before arriving we were told the hot water heater needed a part that wouldn't be available for 3 days. We were even offered another rental to use instead, but it wasn't right downtown...

"Fabulous location for us as it’s just 1/2 block from our son’s apartment. So close to Casco Bay and the Portland Port area. Walkable to restaurants and shopping. Nice sunny apartment! "

"We loved our stay at Lookout Loft, it was super clean, exactly as pictured on VRBO, comfortable, easy, clear directions for parking and check in. The location is fabulous, right above a store on Thames St, so we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. We had no issues with outside noise at night, we all slept great! We would definitely recommend and return!"
