"Very cozy and well appointed. It was a great north country getaway. There is a lot to do in the area. Property was exactly as described on website."

"We had a wonderful time at the Whistling Turtle Chalet with our extended family. Plenty of space in nice clean rooms. Wonderful kitchen fully stocked, with beautiful rooms and grounds. Jenny was extremely communicative and helped with everything we needed or any questions we had. Such thoughtful accommodations and attention to detail. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to stay again!"

"We booked this location because it was close to the Birkie trail and had a hot tub! We loved the views to the lake. It very comfortably and easily fit 4 adults and 3 young kids. Kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable, and the 2 living room areas were great to spread out. The 2 bathrooms upstairs were much more updated while the lower bath had some retro basement vibes but very clean and no complaints! We went sledding out the front of the cabin and it was only 10 minutes drive to one...

"I would 100% recommend staying here for larger groups! Very accommodating, clean and had everything we needed for a group of 7. About a 25 min drive to Bayfield to enjoy everything the area has to offer. We'll be back!"

"The property is beautiful and nestled into the trees, which made for a gorgeous winter setting. The bedding and bathrobes are luxurious and comfortable. The soaking tub and the fireplace are incredibly relaxing and ensure for a cozy stay. We enjoyed the quiet holiday weekend reading, doing jigsaw puzzles and sipping hot cocoa by the fireplace. We could have easily stayed cozy in the chalet all week, but we were happy to have access to the beautiful scenery nearby for some exercise. It was a...

"We just love these cottages and the community. It is absolutely beautiful in the summer and winter. Everything is clean and this cottage had all the kitchen utensils and equipment needed. The only think is the upstairs area gets quite warm to due to fireplace having to be on. Maybe install another ceiling fan in the bedroom? We just loved our stay and can't wait to visit again."

"The cabin is cozy -- a lofted bedroom overlooks the living area above the ground-floor (private) room. The whole cabin is well-heated by the fireplace and, in warmer months, the porch looks like a lovely place to eat and relax. The cabin is located in a small neighborhood of similar cabins, all separated from each other by well-preserved woods, which keeps everything feeling quite private and natural. All in all, it's a great place and we enjoyed our stay!"

"This rental is a perfect place for a small family or two couples to base their Lake Superior adventure from. There’s enough room for everyone to have their own space as well as room for everyone to get together to play a game or share a meal. Wi-Fi was great and kitchen was stocked appropriately."

"Really good facility for our 10-member family. Many amenities. Great kitchen area with all necessary utensils and equipment. A lot of recreational equipment provided (kayaks, paddleboards, etc.) Only suggestion would be to replace king mattress in main floor bedroom (off-laundry) with a FIRMER one.
