"The Sonnenberg is a beautiful, centrally located home on Herengracht, arguably the most elegant street in Amsterdam. The apartment was perfect for my 20-something niece and nephew, along with myself. Two bedrooms on the top floor, one with a queen bed and the other with two twins, joined together by a Jack and Jill bathroom/shower. There is a tiny powder room on the landing by the living room and dining room. The spiral stairs are VERY steep and narrow! You need to be in good shape to walk up...

The room is really comfortable, big shower which is unusual in Europe, bed and bedding great, loved having seating area and a counter with a wonderful view of the trees and the peaceful canal.
