"The property had amazing gardens. The house itself was a bit dated, not that we minded, but it had everything we needed and the host was so helpful. Lovely breakfasts with home made jam went down a treat"
"Lovely clean and well maintained room. Staff very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was just continental (toast and jam/nutella, cereal, fruit and flavoured yoghurts) but as I'm diabetic they went out shopping and got me plain yoghurts and marmite for low sugar options."

Really helpful staff, very relaxing with excellent spa treatments onsite if required or just relax with ambient atmosphere when using the swimming pool, sauna, steam, hydrotherapy area's giving it a pure chilled vibe to unwind, we booked an executive room with a canal view, just watching the barge boats go past whilst having a beer next to the water it was a very good & relaxed atmosphere, we would definitely be returning to the hotel/spa we had excellent...
"It was perfect for a night or 2. I tried contacting the owner before hand to ask booking in time and how to get in but no reply so we were hanging around hoping. More communication would be great, however the rooms were small and had everything we needed. Spotlessly clean, pure white towels, clean bedding and plenty of sockets. Lovely outside seating area. Will definitely return. "

"Very nice large property, excellent bedrooms. Great view from garden overlooking the river. Everything is in the property you need except an ice cube maker, and garden needs a little tidy ."
"Fabulous location and beautiful views. This hotel is only a 15 minute walk into Llangollen. The staff were amazing and Melanie and the new girl Jody showed us the beautiful penthouse suite which is out of this world. We look forward to returning very soon. "
