Although it was in a remote area, major attractions were within 30 minutes by car (and a few were only minutes away) Our host, Ruthie, was very accommodating and took us to an area fireworks show on the 4th. "Enjoyed staying at this home. The location was just far enough away from town but still close that we didn’t have to drive far to get to a store. It is close to Harker’s Is. and other beach locations. The only thing they could improve on is making the check in and out process a little more clear. The info from the website did not match the printed info from the folder we had so it was a bit confusing but nothing that caused an issue. Over all we would stay here again if we had the chance. "

"We Spent the last week of summer before school started back. We had a fantastic time. We spent one day in Beaufort/ Atlantic Beach and took another day to ride the ferry over to Ocracoke (that’s the best return on a single dollar ever!) The house was perfect for 4 children two adults and a dog. We had beautiful nights eating dinner on the porch and enjoying the sunsets, even the sunrises a few mornings .
