"I didn’t go to Myoko to sit in a hotel room, so this place was perfect. Comfy beds in a small room. Very dorm room style. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is great. I had a burger one night that was amazing. Great onsen too. I liked it but don’t think your getting luxury.. "

"It’s just beautiful. They have a shuttle to the ski areas that aren’t walkable. Free shuttle from and to the train station. They were very friendly and helped me set up my luggage transportation to the next ski location. "

"We had a nice stay. A property prepared for days of skiing. The breakfast was good. The onsen warming. The views magnificent. We were snowed in one day and were only able to find food at a convenience store. The drives around the lake and mountains are beautiful. The highway has an exit nearby but there is plenty of other access. Probably great for summer too!"

"This place is a great discovery. The hosts offer a warm and gracious hospitality. The jazz music they play in the common area is excellent. I love their displays of art and the maps of the local area. The breakfasts were splendid and the host worked to accommodate the dietary needs of one of our group."

"The young owners of this property are very sweet, kind and really try to be helpful. They seemed that had not quite got the hang of being proprietors, but they are very likable. Compared to other places we stayed cluttered with not quite the same and amenities. The owner was very helpful when we got stuck in snow bank during a snowstorm via messages. "It was a fairly simple stay, with just the basics in the room. Since we live in Japan, were used to certain aspects of a hotel room here, such as a tea kettle and coffee, plus some cups - and we missed those things.
