"The room was Sparkling clean. Beds were comfortable and made up excellently! Refrigerator, Microwave, Coffee pot (coffee, cream, sugar provided) were all in good working order and very clean. The kitchenware, plates, cups, silverware were also very clean. There is No Maid Service at this motel. Not a problem. Manager provided his number and any fresh towels, linens, soap, shampoo, dish washing liquid, coffee required were delivered on the spot. Kind of unique, but the system was run smoothly....

"The host was great and communicated very well with us ahead of time. The house really only sleeps 4 “comfortably” since air mattresses have to be used for any more than that. We knew that going in but the set up didn’t really work for two separate families. We failed to read the fine print and were thankful we had a cooler weekend as the house doesn’t have AC. "Enjoyed a week-long stay at the farmhouse! The kids enjoyed the goats and checking for eggs from the chickens. Many peaceful spots on the property to read or put up a hammock and take a nap! We used the location for my daughter's senior pictures. Great communication with owner - always very helpful and gracious!"

"The house can accommodate a large group easily. We could not have asked for better weather. The biggest disappointment was the area of Lake Huron. If you are looking to run and dive into Lake Huron this is not the place. The bottom here is all rocks that you cannot walk on.
