"I would give them 10 stars if I could! We come to tybee a couple times a year and this is my favorite stay so far. The hosts are amazing and the communication is great. "Here's a few things to know in advance: 1.) The twin beds do NOT exist. It is a full size bed. Two of us had to share a bed and that was NOT part of the plan. "Once we dealt with the bird (that was inside stuck beside the stove) and the pests coming in, it was a very good stay. One suggestion would be to install weather striping around the doors to minimize pests (bugs, flies, bees, etc.). Otherwise, thumbs up."

"My son and I stayed at the Blue Dolphin house while attending weekend wedding festivities with family. We had planned on a larger group but the hurricane and other circumstances changed who was able to travel. I let Patty know and she was responsive and kind regarding our change in circumstance. The cottage was perfect! It had everything we needed for a stress free stay. We would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it to others. "My husband and i have probably stayed at 30 VRBO’s. We loved this cottage. It was immaculate, the perfect size for us and our 13 pound little dog. The screen porch was our favorite space and all the neighbors were so friendly to us. A perfect getaway!!"

"We had a great time in this darling beach cottage. It is in the historic Fort Screven area of Tybee and just about a 3 minute walk to the Gulick Street beach access. This is my third trip to Tybee Island and I enjoyed this house the best. The house was SPOTLESS!! It is also the best stocked of ANY vacation rental I have stayed in any where. There were no problems with the house so the only time I had to talk with the owners was to tell them it was still standing after Hurricane Helene...

"I cannot imagine a better place to stay! It is so quiet and peaceful. The bird watching was amazing and we loved the easy proximity to the beach/swimming - esp. via our very own golf cart!! ;) The record player was a great personal touch and don’t even get me started on the outside shower (a dream!!!) And on top of all that, there is also a FANTASTIC restaurant (“Seawolf” with local oysters) just a stone’s throw away. Don’t miss out on this special property!"

"As many have mentioned, noise is the main discomfort here -- not only from the busy fun-loving street below, but also from neighboring apartments next door and coffee shop music below. I was prepared for it and was still surprised by *just* how noisy. Sonder provides a noise machine and ear plugs, and while they helped the main culprit was the bass from music that earplugs don't do much to ward against.
