"Overall we enjoyed our stay at this property. We had read reviews noting the living room furniture and the mattress quality; however, we found that both features were comfortable. We did noticed that the floors were very dirty upon our arrival. For example, when in the living, we found clumps of blonde hair on the floor (my husband and I have dark brown/black hair). "The dirt driveway takes you off Rt 12 to a wooded area where we found our little cabin. It is a homey, relaxing place to be when not on the beach. There are a couple other cabins but each has its own little driveway and spacious surrounding. You have the shade of the tress with grassy areas and a marsh with bird and marsh sounds. "This is the best beach house we have ever stayed in. It was perfect for the two of us but easily accommodates more. The furnishings were beautiful and the welcome gifts were such a nice touch. The whole house inside seemed brand new…the owners were great and you could tell they put a lot of thought into everything to make sure their guests would enjoy their stay. The location couldn’t have been better…oceanfront and right on the beach. Hopefully will have another opportunity to stay there again....

"First time using VRBO, heard horror stories from others regarding key pad to door not working to the location left dirty. This unit was perfect. You can’t come here though expecting it to be like staying in those huge 3 plus level houses. There is no washer and dryer. "There were a multitude of problems with the property. First of all the screens on the deck were torn away, so there was no barrier for the flies and mosquitos, so it was unusable. Also, there were piles of dirt and leaves blown in on the deck. The door on the twin bed bedroom could not be unlocked and there was tape on latch to prevent it from closing tight. Otherwise, the occupant would be locked in the room. The return air vents at the stairway were black and disgusting. On the second floor...

"This is the perfect space for a small family or couples in Hatteras. Host are attentive, responsive and helpful! Bathroom is spacious! Rooms are a little small, but we weren’t in them much, so again, perfect! We loved the two porches and having the outdoor hose made returning from the beach a breeze.
