"Yes, there is a fairly busy road. BUT this charming home is conveniently located to Acadia NP, Bar Harbor and many other wonderful places to visit. You can get to a trailhead for hiking and cycling on the “quiet side” of 10 minutes up the road. Kimberly leaves many thoughtful details that make the home a comfortable and welcoming place to stay."

"This is a room in a lovely old farmhouse. I thought the description could have been more detailed: I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The room is on the second floor; the bathroom is private but down a short hallway. The property is in the country and very quiet. Restaurants and stores are in Ellsworth, and easy 20-25 minute drive. Hosts are lovely and not intrusive. "

"This property was advertised as "no smoking;" however, the place had been smoked in for years as evidence by the smoke stained yellow curtains. The house was dirty, cobwebs throughout the house. , Spare roll of toilet paper was dirty. Bathroom soap covered in hair and hair in the bottom of the tub. "The house was nice and the owner was great to deal with, she provided a lot of local knowledge on things to do. I will say that it is on a surprisingly busy road. But the horses were great and the family loved to give them apple slices and carrots. Overall I would recommend it to anyone looking for something like this. "The property exceeded our expectations! Location was perfect. Quick walk to the grocery store, Charlie’s Seafood Market and Gather, a great breakfast restaurant. We spent a lot of time at the lake, which is almost right across the street. "Our grown children who live in neighboring states met us in Maine for a long weekend together. The house has lots of vintage charm and a welcoming soul.
