"We stayed for one night in this lovely, rustic cottage and wished we had more than one day to enjoy the amenities, which was a fantastic lakeside spot with a dock, fire pit, kayaks, and wrap around deck. The cottage was charming and cozy, with an unusual layout with a loft above the 2nd floor bedroom. The one minor glitch to the trip was having to call Vacasa repeatedly for the access code to the house, which we did not get until we are at the house. "

"My wife and I couldn’t be happier with our stay here. The cabin was cozy, inviting and had all the accommodations we needed. The setting: perfect! Right on the tidal river and seemingly in the middle of nowhere—but super close to anything we needed in Ellsworth. "I loved the concept. However, it was a muddy mess to get back there. I don’t mind mud but you can’t carry everything back with you. I think they could put a path way with wood berms or hravel. I fell and slid in mud so walking back with a clean change of clothes impossible because your most definiy gonna fall i. the mud. loved the animals though"

"Very cozy and private cabin. The bathroom has amenities that make it feel like a little spa. Outside deck space and fire pit is nice. Lots of different spaces and rooms. It's about 20-30 min to Acadia depending on the traffic. I would recommend this place to anyone, except for someone who has difficulty using stairs. We would go back."

"We really enjoyed our 4-night stay at Loon Song Cottage. The cottage has a screened front porch, which you don't see often in vacation rentals. (So many times I have wished that we could keep the front door open, but can't without a screen.) The cottage is nice and new, and very clean. "This was a great place to stay for our little family while visiting the Bar Harbor/ Acadia area. The cabin was comfy and more than enough room for a family of 3. Everything was stocked well, very clean and well thought through with renters in mind. Both Bar Harbor and Acadia were about 10 minutes away and easy to get in and out of. The hike from the cabin was a perfect way to go see the sunset. Would absolutely stay again if we are in the area! "

"It had been about 30 years since we had been to Maine, and this was a great choice for our return visit. Cozy cabin! Pines, pines, and more pines. Sounds of the ocean at night. "This was a captivating setting. If we were to stay there for a few days, it would have been delightful. As it was, we were driving back from Acadia NP. We just weren’t prudent. We were up for indoor camping and maybe even the wood stove, but elected not to stay after arriving after dark…totally our choice. Another time, it would have been PERFECT. "
