"Communication with Erwin was good and the house is lovely and right on the beach! It's not far from things to do, restaurants, shops, etc. My only complaints are that it was billed as 3Br but the third bedroom is outside through a hall with another key. I wanted bedrooms for my kids so they'd sleep better but there is no way I was putting a little kid out there. There was a third bed on the floor in the master which worked well but it just wasn't what was advertised. The maintenance in the house...

The little town is super secluded and have spas restaurants and shops that you can walk to, they have a market that has a little bit of everything and is super high end. The wake spa services are amazing and the staff in all the restaurants are great. Right on the beach - we enjoyed our walks on the super-soft volcanic sand.condo was super clean and decorated very nicely. Great location: Portrero has a couple grocery stores along with multiple restaurants just minutes away. Easy to get to other beach towns such as Flamingo, Tamarindo, Hermosa, and Covo.
