"I have to say, out of all of the properties we have ever stayed in, this ranks among the very top. Such a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. The owners have literally thought of everything. We were greeted by a very clean property, snacks in the kitchen and a view off of the back that was breathtaking! We are already planning our next trip to Maine and this property is an absolute must. "We could not have picked a more lovely chalet for a family visit to the Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park area. "Wow-factor" water views with a nice back yard and coveted beach access allowing for strolls at low-tide. The property is private, quiet and scenic- a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of nearby Bar Harbor where parking can be challenging due to crowds. "This was a captivating setting. If we were to stay there for a few days, it would have been delightful. As it was, we were driving back from Acadia NP. We just weren’t prudent. We were up for indoor camping and maybe even the wood stove, but elected not to stay after arriving after dark…totally our choice. Another time, it would have been PERFECT. "

"The cottage was cute and well equipped. At first as we were driving there it seemed so far off the beaten path. As we ventured out the next day to Acadia National park we realized we weren’t that far away. It was about a 45 min drive. We do like to watch a little tv before bed; so, if you want a tv, there is no tv. We listened to our music. It was a little too cold to sit outside to do any star gazing. The view of the sunrise over Cadillac mountain was beautiful!"
