"The hotel is in an isolated place but there is a sister pub/hotel nearby and many buses into town. The Metrocentre is nearby (a disappointment) and the Rowers has funky old fashioned ship-related decor with wooden panels and antiquated-style bathroom furnishings. The only drawback are the doors to each room which need to be pulled hard to close."

We eat out but the apartment had a fully equipped kitchen with a small shop on the ground floor with food that could be brought to microwave in the apartment.
