Still nice but unfortunately we could not get the electric shower to function and when I intended to report this there appeared to be nobody around . Still a nice venue in a pleasant setting. "We had an absolutely lovely stay at The Langley Castle! The staff is fabulous, we definitely recommend taking the tour. Dinner was a work of art, the duck confit was unbelievably delicious. Breakfast was very tasty. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept. The Derwentwater Suite was a gem. Highly recommend this property and we will want to visit again!"

"Well located in the centre of Hexham, this is a nice hotel close to a lot of Hadrian’s wall visitor sites. We stayed in a superior room, which nice enough. It was a bit noisy, mainly because the room was next to the lift and sound transmitted very easily through the gaps around the door. With a little bit of sound proofing, the room would have been excellent."

Although property is old fashioned, my single room, with en suite was very clean and bed was comfortable The breakfast cerea,l yogurt etc was an unexpected bonus. Kettle, microwave and fridge in room. Member of staff on arrival friendly and helpful. I couldn’t get the tv to find any chanels, but not there long enough to enquire about it. "I stayed 3 nights in this lovely public house (the Sun Inn, Acomb). It didn't have big town amenities, but it was fine for me as I wanted to visit and walk parts of Hadrians Wall. The couple running this enterprise had only taken it over about a month before I stayed, but I think they are doing it brilliantly. A nice atmosphere in the bar. Good choice of breakfast - which was delicious. A small menu for evening food - I tried one of the pasta dishes - again delicious. No car park, but...
