"Once inside this clean and cozy space, it was like we stepped back to another time - the 30s or 40s. I kept hoping to see Benny Goodman, Bing Crosby or maybe Frank Sinatra walk by and say hello. This is a lovely little cottage with its centerpiece fireplace perfect for two visiting a splendid part of California with great food, shopping, and the sea nearby. "The weather wasn’t the best, cold & clouds, but it was December! But we had a great Christmas in this lovely house. The town is quite hilly but you can walk just about everywhere: the beach, downtown and even Ralph’s grocery store. The kitchen is well equipped except there was only one large pot. Hard to make pasta to go with spaghetti & meatballs with just one! Also, the couch could be replaced. I would get a larger one as this is the only real sitting space besides the kitchen chairs. "The house is cozy, clean, well-equipped and in walking distance to restaurants, shops and beach. Owner lives in the house behind it and it very accessible. For us unlucky ones that have to work while there, a little desk would be appreciated, as would be instructions so that we don't have to bother landlord so much. E.g., where exactly to park and that the washer/dryer are in the owner's building. "

"We booked this house last minute for our fall break trip. It was great for so many reasons!! They allowed dogs, was one house off the sand, had great views of the beach/ocean/jetty from the patio, easy access to grocery and food options, plus there was a fire pit, sauna, and hot tub! The house was clean and well stocked with all the basic amenities. Drew the owner was very communicative and friendly. "

"Absolutely recommend staying here. The house is fully equipped and great for small family. The only suggestion I would give would to put in a smart tv so that Netflix and other streaming programs. But other than that, it was a wonderful stay!!"
