"Overall, not a bad place to stay. Room was clean and staff very friendly. There is a convenience store walking distance if you need something. Only concern I have is the noise from interstate which is very close. This isn't the motel's fault. I stayed for 3 nights for a conference I was attending in Clifton Forge. By my 3rd night, I was use to the traffic and slept very well. Interesting enough, several others in the conference were were also staying here. The breakfast area was...

"This stay wasn’t bad, overall, but the property is very unusual. The hotel itself has no office or attendant in the building itself but has an employee in the diner next door, and that is where one checks in and out as well. In addition, the property is two stories but has no elevator or any luggage carts. Our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. And the food at the diner was delicious. "

"It was incredible at the Hillcrest. Martha and her family were so lovely and cared for us immensely. We were lucky to be there for the night when there were no other guests in the mansion, so we had the entire place to ourselves, and all of Martha's incredible hospitality.
