"Thank you so much Bill, Emily & Lily!! We thoroughly enjoyed your beautiful, comfortable, unique, open air cottage! The breezes off the ocean and hillsides were lovely. We especially enjoyed the blast from the past by sipping our coffee while listening to 70’s lp’s on the retro turntable! The Bananaquits, frogs & geckos (?) were quite entertaining too! The proximity to Salt Pond Bay for swimming & snorkeling as well as near by restaurants made for a perfect spot to spend a few days on St. John...

"We loved our stay here. Very clean and spacious for a couple with an awesome view and the breeze was the icing on the cake. Our host allowed us to use their beach chairs which were brand new so we didn’t have to pay for rentals at the beaches. We also had access to a small carry cooler which came is great for snacks and water. We gave five stars to all and would definitely stay here again. "

Always available, and checked in during the frequent power outages that have been occurring throughout STT and STJ. "It was a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the main land. It was clean and quiet. The outside area was amazing. The outdoor pool area lighting was great, but pop the lights off for a few minutes to really take in the gorgeous night sky without the light pollution we have become accustomed to. It is breathtaking. "

"The property itself is impressive. Communication with the owner/property manager is fantastic, and I can't praise them enough. The only downside is that the roads to the property are very steep and narrow, but manageable."

"Overall the house was very lovely and close to Cruz Bay! We loved the beds and the view of the home. When we tried to find the house via Google maps, it was not the right spot. You need to ask your taxi driver to take you to Samuel Cottages. The check-in process was a bit difficult, but we had a helpful tax driver who didn’t leave until we got into the property. Thank you!"

"The place is small and there are a lot of stairs! But the views are stunning and there is everything you need for cooking basic meals, outdoor sunbathing, open air showers, and a very complete guide for things to do and places to go on the Coral Bay end of the island. The bedroom is a bit awkward with the bed up several uneven steps, but it's quite comfortable. Overall a great stay!"

Monika and Jorge were excellent hosts, right there to greet us, very attentive to our needs. The villa had everything we needed from a very functional kitchen, unbelievably beautiful views, beach toys, to a great bookshelf! We look forward to coming back!"

"Very clean and spacious, close walk to restaurants and supermarket if you're comfortable on a steep hill dodging some traffic. Make sure you rent a Jeep, a sedan won't make it into the parking spot."

The trip would have been VERY different without power….no A/C, no water water, no cooking….UGH!! Marcus and Patty were incredible and very attentive. STJ….a little slice of heaven!! "This was our third trip to St John, so we obviously love the island. And if you could create the absolutely perfect place for a couple to stay, Skyloft is that place. Killer view, fifteen minutes from all our favorite east side beaches and snorkeling spots and very comfortable. Skyloft is well-appointed and maximizes outdoor living space in a place where that’s exactly what we want to do! It’s just a gorgeous place. Reviews suffer from grade inflation. If it were allowed, this place is 6 stars!"

"We couldn't have had a more amazing stay at this beautiful little bungalow. The hosts provided everything we needed for many amazing adventures! We loved our privacy and being away from the crowded resort/cruise ship scene. The location was also perfect, being close to beautiful beaches, restaurants, and shopping. We can't wait to return! "

"This place was a good choice. The room was recently renovated with a well stocked kitchenette. The wifi was solid, which was needed as I work remotely. I was happy with the gym. The hot water was strong. Good view from the balcony. No complaints. "

Hotel falido e funcionários mal educados

"O Hotel está falido. Há décadas sem manutenção, tudo quebrado. O serviço, sem dúvida, foi o pior que já vi. Com falta de funcionários e os poucos que trabalham são extremamente rudes e mal educados. Não há qualquer tipo de auxílio aos hóspedes, as coisas básicas faltam… a limpeza é inexistente, o hotel parece um cenário de guerra. Chuveiro não funciona, vaso sanitário não funciona, é tanta sujeira e cabelo de outros hóspedes que chega ser assustador. Ficamos 2 dias no hotel e a experiência foi a pior que já tive, nunca tinha visto gente tão mal educadas, desde os hóspedes até os funcionários. Fujam pq é uma furada."
