"We had a nice stay pity it was only 1night, had a meal and drinks in the evening our waitress was Amy-Louise she was especially good she was running the bar, serving tables and taking orders she was amazing very busy We definitely will be back."

"We had a comfortable stay. Staff hunted for rubber bath mat and came up trumps! Can’t fault staff all helpful. Catered for vegetarian too."

"Room outstanding- furnished to a high standard. Rooms are in a quiet location in a separate block from the pub. Excellent breakfast and value for money. Only down side-room not serviced during 2 night stay. "

"I stayed for 4 nights and was upgraded to a family size room, not sure why but thank you. Good buffet breakfast. Spa facilities available. There is no lift available to upper floors because of the age of the hotel, I was told. I would definitely book again."

"I enjoyed a one-night stay very much, in the cleverly designed single room with its own separate bathroom. Very welcoming, all amenities provided (apart from a holder for toothbrush and paste, but it is a very small bathroom!) and beautifully presented and tasty breakfast. A word of warning if you're walking there from the station - it's uphill and quite steep!"

Meu quarto tinha um odor desagradável vindo do carpete e solicitei a troca do quarto que foi concedida, mas o quarto continuou com o cheiro! Acabei desistindo de solicitar outra troca. Cheiro de carpete é horrível para alérgicos como meu marido. Outra coisa que achei estranha foi não pedirem nossos passaportes no momento do check in. Não sei se foi porque chegamos tarde, mas achei muito inseguro por parte do hotel…"

"We had the most amazing relaxing stay. Our room was lovely with a view of the garden. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. We ate in the restaurant one night of our stay, food was again really good however compared to some of the other handpicked hotels i felt the menu let the hotel down. It wasnt as 'fancy' as ashdown or buxted park but the food quality was still really good. I would defo visit again. "
