"It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "

"We had a great time and will definitely option for a return stay. The house fit our group of 23 comfortably. We enjoyed family dinners on the large picnic table and a nightly bonfire. Our kids ranging in age from 3 to 21 enjoyed boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming, biking, and many other things that the house and area had to offer. The cottages were just great.  It gave us just enough privacy when needed. Everything was very clean and setup nicely. Everyone enjoyed the boat...

"We rented the cottage property because it was close to family. Both the kitchen and bathroom has been update- we did not do any cooking during our stay so can’t comment on that area. But we really appreciate the instant hot water in the bathroom. We stayed in the upstairs bedroom which was comfy with lots of closet space and room. "

"Pipers Nest was a great value for the area. We have stayed in nearby properties and this is far superior. Very clean, nicely decorated and equipped with everything you need to just enjoy our relaxing time away. Nice towels and bed linens. It is really two areas on the first and second floor. "We stayed at Bonnet shores for URI Parents weekend. Three generations were present this weekend and we absolutely adored the great room - which had sweeping views of the water. We enjoyed daily walks down to the beach with our pups and overall the location was wonderful. The house was clean, comfortable and quite enjoyable! We will be back! "
