"Clean and comfortable. We were able to park on the street right outside the hotel. It doesn’t have its own parking area. The problem was I didn’t realize it had a shared bathroom…it taught me a lesson to ensure future bookings are en-suite."

"Amazing place! The ladies in reception of the hotel where we picked up the keys were so lovely. The apartment was stunning and over 2 floors, beautiful big bay window over looking the sea and the beds were very comfortable. It was extremely clean and tidy. Also loved the spa. "The reception member of staff was excellent throughout our stay. Very friendly and approachable. I can’t comment on the service of the room as there wasn’t any. The room was very clean and equipped with a good hairdryer, ironing board and iron if you needed it along with soap and shampoo etc. The whole building is very tired and could do with money being spent on it especially the stair carpet which is thread bare in places and could be a hazard. It was fine for our needs. "

"A great wee traditional pub with good beer and good food. Very friendly and efficient staff. Our bedroom was nice and spacious and the beds comfortable. The only issue we had was the shower head was positioned very low over the bath , making it very difficult to use."

"We ended up The Glengower because of an error with our original booking. It ended up being a much better option: the staff was lovely, the bar and restaurant was great, and the rooms were nice and comfortable for what we needed. And right by the water and shops around the corner. We would definitely stay here again."

"The Queensbridge Hotel feels like a typical seaside hotel - everything that you need, is comfortable, and the staff polite and helpful, but the decor is showing its age. Our room had a wonderful view of the sea, which definitely helps! We enjoyed the hearty cooked breakfast in the morning. "
