"An older Scottish hotel , clean but felt a little tired. Prepaid meals were good, filling, but lacked variety. Breakfast choices were excellent. Very pet friendly. We didn’t use the pool since we had the puppy with us. Staff were friendly but busy as occasionally had to wait longer than necessary for service. Bed was clean and very comfortable. Television doesn’t have WiFi activated so you can’t stream your own accounts, Some people don’t like sitting in the bar after walking all day and...

"Think the bedroom could do with a bit of a paint same with furniture and bed was quite hard. But other than that beautiful hotel, can see the water feature in reception and a beautiful back garden where you can see the stream. The hotel has a lot of interesting history. Breakfast was amazing would highly recommend that. Thanks again for making our stay worth it."

"The lodges are really lovely and so cosy. The bed was unbelievably comfortable with really soft sheets and great pillows. The bathroom is compact but has everything you need (including a heated towel rail). The lodges are a little small but for two people it’s cute and cosy. The staff were friendly and check-in/checkout were really easy. Location is a little out of town and food options are limited. No wifi but our 4G worked fine!"
