"Perfect property for 9 adults and 1 dog! Very clean and well stocked kitchen which was large, with an even larger lounge with log burner. More than enough space for us all to get cosy, play games and see the new year in.Location is beautiful but to note, 20-25 mins from the nearest shop. The pier cafe is great for a drink, coffee or food though, and the drive is worth it for the surrounding views of Loch Katrine. "Blinkbonnie cottage has been the perfect little base of operations for our day trips into various parts of Scotland. The location is peaceful and out of the way but central enough to get to pretty much anywhere in the highlands in an hour or two by car. On top of that, our hosts were beyond helpful with answering questions and requests even before we arrived at this great little gem of a place."

"Our stay was lovely, very clean and location was lovely. Only issue was we never saw that we where to put down the electricity reading on the evening we arrived as it was later at night and it was only on the last day we realised we where to also pay for our electricity. Apart from that the cabin was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. It was a perfect distance from Glenshee"

"Working over Christmas we booked this break to get away from all the madness. Just us and the dog. Thimblewynd was just perfect and we loved it. Peaceful and comfy throughout we chilled out in front of thr log burner or in the hot tub, the tv wasn't on once! We eat at the Kirkstyle Inn which was lovely but made ourselves breakfast and snacks in the well equipped kitchen. There was not a single thing we could fault and we loved every minute. Thanks to Maggie for hosting us. "
